My Autumn/Winter "Flush" Blush Picks!

These deep hues work well with any skintone—instantly gives the right amount of "natural flush"—when applying, make sure to use a light hand (or something similar to the MAC 187 brush if your on the paler side).

My All Year Round, Autumn Eyes...

Can you spot the elephant in the room? (lol... dirty mirror)

When it comes to eyeshadows, I go for warm hues (no matter the season); it's the safest "no fuss" route for any complexion, especially my golden skintone. I rotate between taupe, bronze, copper, gold, and burgundy type of shades (in all my eye makeup formats: cream base, paint pot, shade stick, pigment, powder...etc) to keep my looks somewhat "fresh/new".

When I'm in "rush mode",  I create a gradient effect—dark to light, from lid to crease—with any of these shades (a swipe across the lid yields for endless possibilities).

Swatched, L to R:  mac contructivist paint pot, tarte bronze eyeliner, mac butternutty shadestick and mac mauvement pigment

For the days I want to "venture out" with a cooler/brighter color: I make sure to enhance the crease/orbital bone area with a warm neutral matte shade, apply that "non-traditional" eyeshadow on the lid and accentuate the tear duct area with a happy medium color to counteract it all.

**I don't wear eyeshadow everyday, but when I do, these are the steps I tend to take.
