My "Must-Have" Fall Jackets (oldies, but goodies)

(some of my fall favorite jackets)

I either update my closet with 1-2 seasonal versatile clothing article or add something to my closet when it goes on sale during the following season. #mybasicfashiontiplol #thisrackisactuallymyhusbandslol

(purple-blue tweed jacket w/ antique brass buttons, hits right at waist)

my favorite way to "dress-down" this jacket is w/ skinnies (tall boots), boyfriend (treton sneakers) or bell-bottom (booties) jeans.

(black structured waxy-textured military inspired jacket w/ gold hardware, hits below waist)

my favorite way to wear this jacket is with skinnies or boyfriend jeans and pairing it w/ flats, booties or tall boots.

(matte black moto jacket with silver hardware, hits the middle of my bottom)

I enjoy wearing this moto jacket in many different ways.

(lightweight olive parka, silver hardware, front hits above knee, back hits in the middle of my calves)

I enjoy wearing this parka coat in many different ways.

(& more basics... denim jacket, boyfriend blazer, grandpa cardigan, chunky grandpa cardigan & faux fur vest)

**I updated my closet with a green version of the second jacket and still on the hunt for the perfect trench coat.

3 Cleaning Brush Methods

I try to clean my brushes weekly and when I do, these are my three options:

Spot Cleaning Method (daily)

Castile Soap/Shampoo
Distilled Water
Rubbing Alcohol
Paper Towel

Simply insert mix concoction in spray bottle, spritz mix on a napkin, and swirl your cosmetic brush until it swipes clear (this is great if you have one eye lid brush).

Basic Method (weekly)

Vinegar (Red or White, Cheap or Organic)

Simply apply vinegar in 1 cup of hot water, let it sit for 20 minutes, rinse under luke warm water, and lay flat on a clean towel to dry.

Deep Cleaning Method (weekly)

Castile Soap/Shampoo
Extra virgin olive oil

Simply swirl the brush in the concoction, let it sit for 5-10 minutes, rinse under luke warm water, and lay flat on a clean towel to dry.

Either route you choose, you'll have yourself clean brushes during your next beauty session!
