I actually stumbled upon this product when I was on the hunt to restock on some more " TRESemme's Bouncy Curl" gel—I couldn't find it (probably was out of stock).
This product reduced my curly, saw less frizz, and detangled some knots. So far works well with the products in my semi-routine—leave-in conditioner and smidge of oil (using these items will help me not achieve helmet head)—without the addition I noticed it still gave a non-stiffed lightweight hold to the hair, elongated my coily strands and kept my hair super soft.
The fragrance might be strong for people, but I love it. Smells fresh and clean without any scent of alcohol in it (since it’s alcohol free).
Overall I thought the TRESemme's Tres Clean Hold Gel was a pretty straight-forward product. It claims to do what it states. I would definitely have to add a smidge of ECO Styling Gel just for a more stiff firmness on days I need that extra “hold”.
