Skin: Face & Body Protection - Fall/Winter


As the weather transform our skin transform—making our skin more fragile because of the environment. I have Normal to Dry skin which needs nourishing products during the Fall/Winter so my skin regimen alters towards things that’s more suitable for me.


A Quick Beauty Mask for Dry Skin I discovered last year:
1 egg
1 teaspoon of honey,
1/2 teaspoon of olive oil and
few drops of rose water
Mix the ingredients thoroughly and use as a mask.

The great thing about these products is that you can use them alone or with other kitchen finds.




Rosewater
is a commonly used toner for dry to sensitive skin as it helps the skin stay moisturized and restores the pH balance.

So many things you can mix Rosewater with to make it more beneficial:
- Rosewater and Glycerin
- Rosewater and Oatmel
- Rosewater and Honey
- Rosewarer and Aloe Vera
- Rosewater, Glycerin, Olive oil and milk

Egg White
is an excellent facial mask that is really easy to make and helps you to refresh and smooth your skin. Whisk the white well until it bubbles up. Paste your face and neck and wait till it dries. Rinse off with warm water.

So many things you can mix Egg Whites with to make it more beneficial:
- Egg Yolk and Honey Face Mask
- Egg Yolk and Oatmeal Face Mask
- Egg Yolk and Avocado Face Mask
- Egg Yolk and Sour Cream

Olive oil
is loaded with skin loving nutrients and is a natural humectant that actually helps attract moisture to your dry skin. Gently massage a small amount of olive oil on extra dry areas or even add some to your bathwater.

So many things you can mix Olive oil with to make it more beneficial:
- Olive oil and milk powder
- Olive oil, Honey, Coconut oil and Rosewater
- Olive oil and Oatmeal

Honey
is a dry skin natural remedy, is a substance that is healing to the skin. When applied to the skin it is healing and moisturizing.

So many things you can mix Honey with to make it more beneficial:
- Honey and Olive Oil Mix
- Honey and Yogurt
- Honey and Milk
