Homemade Red Pepper Edamame Sesame Hummus


ingredients:
1 - Can Garbanzo beans
2 - Garlic Cloves
3 tbsp - EVOO
1/2 cup - Edamame
1/2 cup - Roasted Red Peppers*
1/4 cup Sesame* (in place of tanhini sauce)
1/2 tsp - Sea Salt *for taste*
5 tbsp - Lemon Juice
Water or the juice from Garbanzo Beans


directions:
Bake 1 Red Pepper at 450F for 30min (15 min per side), Cool for 5min, peel black skin off, remove stem and seeds and Chop to mini-cubes.

Time to Roast the Sesame Seeds. In a pan (temp. medium heat) place sesame evenly and toasted for 3-5min. Add 1/4 cup of sesame seed, 2 tsp of EVOO or sesame seed oil. Once seed is golden add the sesame to the processor. Add the rest of the ingredients.

Mix in a bowl the cubed Roasted Red Pepper, Roasted Sesame & a splash of EVOO. (store this until your hummus is ready).


So now you should have Roasted Sesame, Garbanzo, 1 tbsp EVOO, Garlic, Lemon & Sea Salt* in the processor.

While processing add Water or the juice from the Garbanzo to loosing up your hummus to your liking.

Place mixture in a bowl. Make an indention in the middle of the hummus and place your mixture( Roasted Sesame Red Pepper).

Wrap and place in fridge for 1 day.

Ready to eat with Pita Bread or Veggies.
